The 18-inch relic search coil by Golden Mask is a 7th generation (7G) search coil, designed to reach extreme depths on large targets such as relics, hoards, and other kinds of buried treasures.

The 18-inch coil works best and reaches its full potential when the detector is set at a low working frequency of up to 8kHz. Of course, you can use it even at 18kHz, but in this case, you could have problems with the ground balance.

The coil is delivered with a spare plastic bolt and nut, two rubber washers, and coil protector. The protector itself weighs 170 grams, so it is strongly advised that you use the coil without it for more comfort.

WARNING! The 7G coils will NOT work on detectors that do not support the 7G protocol.
